Members of Lawtell Elementary School’s administration, faculty, and staff recently attended the Louisiana Teacher Leader Summit in New Orleans. Our dedicated educators participated in valuable professional learning sessions to strengthen their craft, discover innovative strategies, and identify new ways to support student achievement.

We are proud of their commitment to continuous growth and their dedication to bringing new knowledge and ideas back to our campus. When our educators grow, our students and school grow too!

We were excited to welcome back the amazing faculty and staff of Lawtell Elementary School! During professional development, our hardworking staff enjoyed a delicious lunch as they prepared for another successful school year. Our dedicated bus staff members were also gifted special welcome-back baskets to show our appreciation for everything they do to keep our scholars safe each day.

Our Trojan leaders are ready to inspire, encourage, and empower every scholar. Together, we will lead with purpose, serve with heart, and make this an unforgettable year of learning and success!

💜💛 Three Nights, One Trojan Family! 💛💜

Lawtell Elementary School proudly hosted three wonderful orientation nights for our Pre-K through 4th-grade students, 5th through 7th-grade students, and 8th-grade students!

These special evenings gave our families an opportunity to meet our dedicated teachers and staff, visit classrooms, learn about school expectations, and prepare for a successful year. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped us begin the school year with excitement, connection, and Trojan pride!

🏛️ Welcome to the House of Trojans Academy! 💜💛

Our scholars were introduced to the House of Trojans Academy by Dr. Johnson, with support from Mr. Pemberton, Coach Mona Wilson, Mr. Brandon Singleton, and Ms. Heather Bob. Together, they shared the purpose of our house system and encouraged students to embrace teamwork, leadership, school spirit, and a strong sense of belonging.

We are excited to see our Trojans build lasting connections, demonstrate positive character, and proudly represent their houses throughout the school year!
