Fit Kids of Southwest Oklahoma A community coalition of like-minded organizations dedicated to the fight against childhood obesity

Childhood Obesity is one of the greatest health threats facing our children and our state today. The fact that the CDC and other leading health experts have predicted that the current generation of children will be the first that will potentially not out live their parents due to the health implications of obesity is deplorable. This profound concern is the driving force behind the Fit Kids of Southwest Oklahoma Coalition. Fit Kids follows that statement with the motto: “not OUR kids!”

KIDS FIRST COMMUNITY FORUM

What does a stronger future for children and families look like in our community?

Join us for the Kids First Community Forum as we bring together community members, nonprofits, faith organizations, schools, healthcare providers, city leaders, and other stakeholders to address one of the most pressing issues facing families today—housing instability and homelessness.

This forum is an opportunity to:
✅ Learn about local homelessness risk factors and current support systems
✅ Share your experiences, concerns, and ideas
✅ Identify community strengths and service gaps
✅ Develop solutions together
✅ Build a network committed to lasting change

Every voice matters. Whether you are a parent, educator, service provider, business owner, faith leader, advocate, or concerned community member, your perspective can help shape a stronger future for children and families.

Together, we can create a community where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Register here to attend: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/kids-first-action-forum-tickets-1988441148001?aff=oddtdtcreator&keep_tld=true
