We are a NPO consisting of Noncommissioned Officers past and present, that have a true passion for leading Soldiers and developing our communitites! The meaning of Our Crest

The crest was designed by one of the original organizers of the club, Mr. The letters SAMC are an abbreviation for the "Sergeant Audie Murphy Club". The 3 stars separating the letters represent the "Be", "Know" and "Do" which

is at the core of an Army NCO's professional spirit. The majestic American Bald Eagle is the national bird and our country's symbol for freedom. The eagle also represents the intent of the SAMC to be nationwide. The laurel represents the individual achievement of the NCO in the club. The lightning bolt represents swift and decisive action taken by the NCO. The sword is a historical reference and is the symbolic tool of the NCO to cut to the heart of the matter and to lead the charge. Army staff sergeant stripes represent the highest enlisted rank attained by Audie Murphy. The powder-blue streamers, the color of the infantry, indicate the words of the NCO philosophy: Loyalty, Caring, Discipline, and Professionalism.

🇺🇸 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – WINDCATCHER RANCH & SANCTUARY 🇺🇸

The Fort Sill Sergeant Audie Murphy Club (Redleg Chapter) is supporting a volunteer effort at Windcatcher Ranch and Sanctuary — and we need Soldiers, Civilians, and family members to step up.

Why it matters:
Windcatcher is a 26-acre rescue ranch that has saved 40+ horses and works directly with veterans struggling with PTSD through hands-on care and connection with the animals. Recent storms and personnel shortages have left the ranch behind on maintenance.

Mission:
Help restore and maintain the ranch so it can continue supporting both rescued horses and the veterans who benefit from the sanctuary.

Volunteer Tasks May Include:
• Fence repair
• Hanging homemade horse troughs
• Stable repairs
• Basic cleaning
• Organizing equipment
• Interacting with the horses
• General maintenance

Location: 3320 County Street, Cement, OK 73017
Dates: 21–22 FEB 2026 (0900–1400)

Uniform: Tasteful civilian attire or unit T-shirts
⚠️ Boots and gloves are mandatory

Food will be provided by the Fort Sill SAMC (hamburgers & hotdogs).

If you’re ready to serve beyond the uniform and make a tangible impact in our local community, this is your opportunity.
