Join us for our final Summer Reading Program of 2026!

This is an all-day event with no set start time. LEGO building supplies will be available from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., so stop in anytime during library hours to build your own LEGO creation.

Bring your imagination, have fun, and help us wrap up an amazing Summer Reading season with a day full of creativity!

Starting Monday, August 3, at 9:30 a.m., the Lawton Public Library will kick off our annual Back-to-School Book Sale! We’ve received many generous book donations and are also adding non-circulating library materials to the sale each day, so there’s always something new to discover.

Stop by, browse the selection, and stock up on great books at fantastic prices. The sale will continue until our tables are cleared!

Sale prices are $1.00 per bag!

Today was an amazing day at the Lawton Public Library! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Indoor Dome Program, especially on one of the hottest days of the summer.

A special thank you to Mobile Ed Productions for presenting such an informative, engaging, and entertaining program. Everyone had a wonderful time learning and exploring!

We are also incredibly grateful to the Lawton Fire Department for allowing us to hold the program at the fire station. Your support helped make this event a success.

Finally, this program would not have been possible without the generous support of Lawson's Oil and the Dollar General Literacy Foundation Grant. Thank you for helping us provide educational opportunities for our community!
