⚠️ Social isolation and loneliness are serious health risks for older adults. The CDC says they can increase the risk of serious physical and mental health problems, and the National Institute on Aging notes they’re linked to higher risks of conditions like heart disease, depression, and cognitive decline.

That is one of the reasons the Center for Creative Living matters so much.

At CCL, seniors find more than a place to go. They find meals, wellness programs, friendship, support, and connection. For many older adults, that sense of belonging is not just meaningful — it is important to their health and quality of life.

That is exactly why we created CCL Champions, our monthly giving program.

Monthly giving is a simple, automatic way to help us continue providing:

* wellness and exercise opportunities
* social connection and belonging
* support for seniors facing food insecurity

🍽️ Weekly Lunch Menu Update

CCL is excited to begin sharing our lunch menus a little differently!

Starting now, the following week’s lunch menu will be available every Thursday so you can always have the most current information. Menus may vary from week to week as we rotate and utilize available food inventory.

Please call or stop by the Center to see the upcoming menu and sign up for meals. Lunch reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance.

🌸 Celebrating Mary Pettiford! 🌸

We had such a sweet time celebrating our beloved Mary before she heads out for a while.

Mary is truly part of our CCL family. She brings kindness, encouragement, humor, and a helping hand wherever she goes, and our Center is brighter whenever she is here.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to show Mary how much she means to us. We will miss her dearly while she’s away, but we are already looking forward to welcoming her back! 💕
