of Meers, moving south at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Flash Flood Warning for... Central Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 952 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lawton and southern Fort Sill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

..Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southeastern Wash*ta, northwestern Comanche, northeastern Jackson, Kiowa, north central Tillman and southeastern Greer Counties through 115 PM CDT...

At 1239 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms from 3 miles south of Cooperton to near Duke. Movement was northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Altus, Hobart, Granite, Snyder, Blair, Mountain View, Olustee, Lone Wolf, Mountain Park, Roosevelt, Gotebo, Martha, Headrick, Friendship, Cooperton, Altus Air Force Base, Tom Steed Reservoir, Duke, Warren, and Hester.
