Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to increase in coverage Thursday into Friday, especially across western north Texas and southwestern Oklahoma. These locations have the best chance at receiving 1-1.5 inches during that timeframe.

We continue to monitor for storm development along the dryline. If storms develop today, this is where they will likely come from. Chances of robust storm development are about 30-40%, but if storms can develop, storms would be capable of all severe hazards.

04/12 430 PM- Heads up western OK and western north TX! Showers and a few thunderstorms could bring strong wind gusts to these areas over the next few hours. A few localized gusts over 60 mph will be possible with the strongest storms. Storms should dissipate around sunset.
