The LAMAC meets every month on the fourth Wednesday at 6PM in the Book Room (aka the old High School) at 200 Branscomb Road and also online. The zoom link is posted in the Agenda each month. Starting in November, we will meet on the second Tuesday at 6PM to avoid having meetings during the traditional holiday weeks.

Representatives from several local agencies join the zoom meeting each month to give reports and answer questions. The new local CHP Captain Billy O'Connor, Sheriff Matt Kendall, Supervisors Haschak and Norvell, Laytonville Volunteer Fire, Eel River Recovery Project, the Cahto Tribe, Laytonville Grange 726, and 3rd District Supervisor candidates Buffey Bourassa and Eric Hart check in most every meeting when they are available.

New Laytonville Town Limits signs are up on Hwy 101, north and south of town. Thanks to John Haschak, Chris Rogers and Cal Trans for getting it done so quick.

Hopefully this will get (some) drivers to slow down, and tourists will look around to see what we have to offer.
