I am honored to share the Officer Down Memorial Podcast, featuring our own Deputy Robert Moravec. Deputy Moravec made the ultimate sacrifice in 1956 when he was killed in the line of duty. This podcast tells the story of his life, his family, and his dedicated career in service to others.

I would like to extend a sincere thanks to Sheriff Rose for his hard work and dedication put into creating this podcast. I am also deeply grateful to Bob’s family for their continued support and for allowing us to honor his legacy.

Deputy Moravec served and protected with pride, dignity, integrity, and honor. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.
