Also thanks to Senate District 22 candidate Marisa Tatman Ulmen and Mary Nesgoda for House Representative - District 22B for joining us. Her pooch wandered out of frame on this photo, but Marisa's little dog, and Alexis Frykman Smith's big dog, Azeriphale, were very popular with the crowd, especially the kids. Thanks for bringing them!

Another lovely morning for a 1st Saturday Stroll. Here's a quick photo at the trailhead as we waited for walkers. It may have been hot in the sun, but in the woods on the trail if felt a lot cooler. Bonus, we think we found 3 different edible mushrooms: oysters (past their prime), pheasants back (? Maybe chicken of the woods) and shaggy manes. We didn't pick any, just took photos because I want to have my mushroom group confirm my identification first. There are old mushroom hunters, and bold mushroom hunters, but there are no old, bold mushroom hunters!

Adults on Medicaid will be required to work 80 hours per month. The Trump administration says people who are sick will have to prove they are too sick to work to be exempt from the new work rules.
