Here's an Update for the Class of 1996 reunion October 2-3, from the reunion planning committee:

Hey Classmates!
Just a quick reunion update!
First of all, can we all agree that there's absolutely no way it's been 30 years since graduation?
The good news is that we already have a great group planning to attend our reunion weekend, and we'd love to add even more familiar faces to the list!

Let's be honest...
Some of us haven't seen each other in years.
Some of us still look exactly the same (or at least that's what we're telling ourselves).
Some of us probably wouldn't recognize each other in a grocery store.
And some of us are just curious to see what everybody has been up to for the past three decades.
That's what reunions are all about!
No awkward speeches. No popularity contests. Just a chance to laugh about old stories, catch up, and make a few new memories together.

Heads up Class of 1967: August Class of 1967 coffee will be held this Thursday , Sept 3. We’re going to meet at Bobs Drive Inn at 1:00 for those who would like lunch. The coffee will be at 1:30. Hoping for a lot of classmates and/or friends. This will be our last coffee until our mini reunion on Oct 10 at the Legion in Le mars. Join us for a Bobs Hotdog!!!

Congratulations Mr. Ihnen! Your success was our success.

Sheldon native Craig Ihnen has been inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame, joining an elite group of educators, coaches and athletes recognized for their impact on high school activities nationwide. The honor caps a career that helped shape speech, theater and fine arts programs across Iowa and beyond.

The First Day of School is here – are you ready?

August 24 is the official start of the Le Mars Community School year. I’ve got lots of number 2 Pencils, a couple of Pens, Highlighters Ruler, Glue stick, Colored pencils, oh my A notebook for each class Extra folders, dry erase markers My favorite Trapper Keeper, extra lined paper Earphones, calculator A new lunch box ready to be filled to the brim....

Welcome to the Class of '71 for their 55th get together tonight, 6 p.m. at the American Legion in Le Mars.
There is no cost to classmates for the meal, but cash bar.
Have a great time visiting and reminiscing about the 'good ole days!'
