Huge progress on new Ladder 65! The platform, ladder and turntable were installed last week. The truck is moving into testing phase in Appleton Wisconsin this week.

In this report the aerial device completed initial assembly and was being pinned to the apparatus. In the next report your apparatus may begin aerial testing.

Happy to report production on new Ladder 65 is moving along great. We are scheduled to inspect the truck on June 23rd. We are looking forward to getting it home to LeRoy soon!

Ladder 65 responded to Caledonia for the 3rd Alarm house fire today. Crews helped extinguish the fire and check for hot spots. Good teamwork by everyone involved.

LFD members responded at 4:32pm today to a car vs. semi truck accident at West Bergen and Griswold. The driver of the car was extricated by Engine 62 and transported to Strong Hospital via Le Roy Ambulance Service. The driver of the truck had minor injuries and transported to UMMC Batavia hospital by Mercy EMS. Bergen Fire Department Engine 29 and Genesee County Office of Emergency Management GM-2 provided Hazmat fuel spill control for the truck. LeRoy Police Department - NY, New York State Police and Genesee County Sheriff's Office - Batavia, NY were on scene investigating. LFD Fire Police closed the road during the incident.
