With Election Day approaching, the Le Sueur Police Department would like to remind residents of City regulations regarding signage displays:

Except for traffic control, all signs are prohibited within the public right-of-way or easements, except that the city may grant a license, or a conditional use permit to locate signs and decorations on or within the right-of-way for a specified time.

Signs should be placed at least four (4) feet from public roadways or sidewalks on private property.

Election signs are permitted in all districts but must be removed within two weeks following Election Day.

Signs found in violation of the ordinance will be removed, and we will make every reasonable effort to notify the owner for the sign to be returned.

Thank you for your help in ensuring compliance with current City ordinances and promoting safety and visibility for motorists and pedestrians.

Students & pedestrians, please be sure to utilize crosswalks and sidewalks whenever possible.
Reminder, there is no parking on the south side of Ferry St. near the LSH Middle/High School.

Pictures alone just could not do Pool Patrol Day justice.
Thank you to the Aqua Valley pool lifeguards for hanging with our boaters in the pool while they showed of their construction and paddling skills.
We are already looking forward to next year!
