🇺🇸 The LBC is excited to be celebrating this year on the 4th of July! And to show it, we will be decorating the Main Street Memorial Lamppost in red, white and blue decor! The big ribbons & bows were donated by our board President, Jerred Price, and they will be decorated / installed by LBC Commissioner Linda Williams Navarro and a few other volunteers!

BUT WAIT! That’s not all! 👉🏼 To celebrate this BIG BIRTHDAY of our country, we also will be hosting a DOWNTOWN BUSINESS DECORATING CONTEST! We encourage all downtown businesses and stakeholders to decorate their storefronts in red, white and blue decor! That could be window painting, flag decor, ribbons, or anything else! The winner will get a $250 gift card, sponsored by Price’s Bakehouse (opening soon in Downtown Leachville)!

The decorating of the poles will take place June 27th & 28th and will stay up through Sunday, July 5! Businesses will be judged at 5pm Saturday, June 27th!

We can’t wait to see downtown transformed for America’s 250th!✨

Well today, we are happy to share those plans! Check out these before and after photos! The space consist of 4 rooms: a museum room, an office for the LBC, a board / meeting space, and a small business incubator space!

🇺🇸 Let’s all give a big congratulations to the Weinmann’s for being awarded our May 2026 Yard of the Month! Their beautiful yard sure looked spectacular and decorated wonderfully for Memorial Day!

April through December of each year, we are happy to reward the YARD OF THE MONTH award to a home in Leachville who puts a lot of love and time into their yard and grounds. Having a beautiful yards is not only aesthetically pleasing but also holds significant importance. Spaces and yards like this really help beautify our town.

| beautifyleachville.org ~ We are excited to announce that Chuck Brown has been nominated and confirmed to be our newest commissioner for the LBC! He is stepping in and stepping up to replace Brannah Bibbs whose term is ending and has decided to roll off to allow a new neighbor to serve with us!

“Brannah has been a vital part of our group and will remain a close ally. She said she looks forward to still helping and volunteering with us. Her considerate move allows us to bring in some fresh blood and give other citizens the opportunity to serve on the board as we continue to BEAUTIFY LEACHVILLE! If you see Brannah out and about, please give her a big thank you for all shes done for us. Also, if you see Chuck, give him a big congratulations!” said LBC President Jerred Price.

Folks, where do we even begin? Yesterday evening was truly something special for our community. The LBC's 4th Annual "Meal on Main" was an absolutely beautiful and memorable night from start to finish.

We were incredibly blessed to have the rain hold off throughout the day, allowing everything to come together perfectly. Around 2:00 PM, preparations officially began as we transformed Main Street into a gathering place for neighbors and friends. First came the street closure — made possible by the dedicated support of the Leachville Police Department and the Leachville Volunteer Fire Department. Not only did they help make the event possible, but they also worked throughout the evening to ensure everyone’s safety, and for that we are deeply grateful.

Our incredible volunteers and Board of Commissioners poured countless hours of hard work into setting up tables, tents, chairs, string lights, and decorations to create such a welcoming atmosphere for the evening. A heartfelt thank you goes to Twigs & Stems Floral Design + More for generously donating the beautiful flowers and table décor that made the event feel so warm and elegant. And special recognition goes to LBC Commissioner Linda Williams Navarro for sharing her decorating talents and vision — everything looked absolutely stunning.

The evening was made even more memorable with wonderful live music by Michael & Presley Shipp, who traveled from Benton, Arkansas to entertain our guests with an incredible performance. And of course, the night would not have been complete without the outstanding barbecue from Northside Grill, owned by Mr. Reginald. Bringing a taste of Memphis — the BBQ capital of the world — to Main Street! And as the perfect finishing touch, Chef Jan & Price’s Bakehouse surprised us all with some free desert!
