#๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ณ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐๐ถ๐น๐น๐ฒ ~ It was great meeting with our community partners from Lowe's Home Improvement about the Historic Leachville Train Depotโs new windows! We are excited about this next phase of the project and our ensuring that we get the best product for the best price! A huge thank you to Christina and her team for coming all the way to Leachville and helping us with bringing this beautiful community project to life!
Step by step, we are working to save and restore our historic train depot โnot only preserving an important piece of Leachvilleโs history, but also giving it a new purpose for generations to come. Soon, this building will once again be a place that serves the entire community. One of the most exciting features will be a business incubator space designed to help local entrepreneurs take the next step. Home-based businesses will have the opportunity to set up inside the depot for up to six months completely rent-free, giving them real-world experience operating a brick-and-mortar location.
And we wonโt stop there. โThe Leachville Beautification Commission will also help participating businesses build a new website, establish or improve their Google business presence, develop new branding if needed, and provide additional resources to help them growโall at no cost to the business owner.โ said LBC President & Founder, Jerred Price.
โThis project is about more than restoring an old building. Itโs about preserving our history, investing in local entrepreneurs, creating new opportunities, and building a stronger future for Leachville.โ said Whitlee Adams McDermott, LBC Vice President
