Our Mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals and their people through advocacy, community outreach, education, and adoption services. Our mission is to educate the community through community outreach & youth programs, continue to support low cost spay & neuter options, and to provide safe and proper care for the animals in our facility while they await adoption. Public Hours:
Sundays

- Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:30 am and 1:30 - 4:00 pm
Wednesdays CLOSED
Fridays 10:00 - 11:30 am and 1:30 - 4:00 pm
Saturdays 1:00 - 4:00pm
Closed on Major Holidays

Does anyone recognize me? ❤🐾

I was found off of Hwy 91 and luckily a nice person brought me here to find my family! They had been taking care of me the last few days, so I've been on my own for a little bit now. If you know me or my owner, please call the Animal Shelter at 719-486-8951, and bring proof of ownership!

There was an older looking dog wandering near the intersection of Hwy 24 & 82 that goes up to twin lakes/independence pass.
9/2 at 1:00pm.
Had a collar on but no tags and skittish. Offered water but wasn't interested and he wouldn't let the person get near it. If anyone knows him/her, please let their owner know!

Litter, treats, chews, enrichment goodies — these are the everyday things that keep our shelter animals comfortable, happy, and very appropriately spoiled while they wait for their next chapter.

Every single item that shows up at our door means something to us, and to them. Thank you for continuing to show up for our animals and our shelter. We seriously have the best community. ❤️

Turns out we’ve been hoarding pet supplies like squirrels preparing for winter. 🐿️🐾

So we’re cleaning house! Harnesses, collars, leashes, sweaters, jackets, toys, rugs, kennel quilts, puppy pads, towels and all kinds of other goodies are outside the shelter and up for grabs!

Come on by and take what you need for your pet! ❤️

Donations are always appreciated, but absolutely not required.
