The Leadwood Fire Protection District Junior Firefighter Program is accepting applications from now until October 1, 2026!🔥🔥
Applicants must:
✅ Be 14-18 years of age
✅Live within the Leadwood Fire Protection District Service Area
Stop by the Leadwood Firehouse on Wednesday Training starting a 6:00pm to pick up an application!

How does it work?
1⃣ Once the application period closes on October 1st, all applicants with be contacted with information about the next steps.
2️⃣ A MANDATORY MEETING will then be scheduled for all selected applicants and their parents/guardians. This meeting will be an important opportunity to discuss the Junior Firefighter Program including expectations, responsibilities, safety, and what it means to be a part of the Leadwood Fire Protection District.
