Pinellas County has been upgraded to a Red Flag Warning.
The National Weather Service has upgraded Pinellas County to a Red Flag Warning for Tuesday, April 21.
Even the smallest spark can quickly grow into a dangerous wildfire in these conditions.
Help us keep Pinellas County safe. As a reminder, the burning of yard debris is always prohibited in Pinellas County per Pinellas County Ordinance Sec. 58-206.
Remember:
❌No burning of yard waste (leaves, branches, brush).
❌No burning of household trash or construction debris.
⚠️Caution: Refrain from burning small fire pits.
⚠️Caution: Keep vehicles off dry grass and don't throw ci******es or matches out of a moving vehicle.”
Dry conditions will continue on Tuesday. A Red Flag Warning has been issued for all counties in west central and southwest Florida Tuesday from 11 AM to 8 PM. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged, as any fires that develop could spread rapidly.
