Community cleanup:

The nonprofit Neighbors Serving Neighbors is hosting a cleanup of an elderly woman’s property that was deemed unsafe by the city, because of recent code enforcement changes the city is fining her. This is putting her in a tricky situation where she’s being fined for code violations she isn’t able to fix herself or pay someone to fix for her.

Wear closed toe shoes and bring gloves if you have them, breakfast tacos and drinks provided for volunteers, Neighbors Serving Neighbors is a registered nonprofit and can sign off on volunteer hours.

Ready for round two? We have 450 more doors to knock in Cedar Park before election day (May 26) in the Democratic Primary Runoffs and we want to make sure they all hear about running for State Board of Education!

Join Wilco Young Dems for a fun afternoon knocking doors. It may seem old school, but meeting people on their doorstep is still the most effective way to educate voters. If you've never done this before, we will partner you up with a pro. No pressure. Wear walking shoes and your WYD t-shirt if you have one. We'll have water, handouts, and good vibes. We'll meet at the bike racks near the entrance to Champion Park to begin.

Ready for round two?? We have 450 more doors to knock in Cedar Park before election day in the Democratic Primary Runoffs and we plan to make sure they all hear from us about running for State Board!
