Join us for the 2026 Mississippi Fire Safety Summit, presented by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and State Farm, in partnership with the Mississippi Insurance Department Fire Services Division (MSFIRE) and the Mississippi State Fire Academy (MSFA).

This free, day-long event is designed for fire service members and community partners, and will focus on important topics like:
- What's New in Public Education
- Wildfire: It's a Thing in MS
- Don't Chance Safety
- Educational Messaging - 2026 Style

The event will feature national partners, local speakers, and vendors, providing a wealth of practical ideas and resources. Lunch will be provided.

🚑 It’s National EMS Week! 🚑

This week, we honor the dedicated EMS professionals who answer the call every day with skill, compassion, and care.

Many of our volunteers are certified EMS professionals who invested their own time and money to serve our community — and that dedication does not go unnoticed.

We also want to thank the crews at AMR Central Mississippi for the ambulance services they provide throughout Hinds County and for the care they deliver when our citizens need it most. ❤️
