VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Last year we had to cancel this event due to lack of volunteers. LET'S NOT DISAPPOINT THE KIDDOS THIS YEAR! Please use the link below to sign up for a short time slot. Choose what you would like to do for 1 hour or so. Many hands make light work. Set up chairs, monitor parking, manage games, grill, serve food, clean up, etc.

We've seen a lot of questions lately about what is happening related to the pool and more specifically an indoor pool. Great Question! There is a lot going on. As part of our mission to advocate for a year-round pool in Leavenworth, UVAB was encouraged by council member support for our vision to include an indoor pool as part of the Osborn Elementary redevelopment project. In late October we presented two preliminary design concepts to City Council that would include an indoor pool, the library, a community center, and parking within the same footprint of the existing Osborn building, as well as possible funding avenues.
