New partnership. Real impact. Missouri, this one's for you. 🤝

We're proud to announce our new strategic partnership with the Missouri Fire Fighters Critical Illness Pool (MFFCIP) - bringing evidence-informed mental health and resilience training to fire service personnel across the state.

Missouri Responders will now have access to:
- Train-the-Trainer: peer-driven resilience education built to last
- LeadStrong: practical tools for supervisors and mid-level leaders
- FamilyStrong: support for the whole person, not just the job
- Champions Network: connection, education, and resources that don't stop after training

"Responder wellness is operational readiness." — Jason Mitchell, Director of Engagement, ResponderStrong

Missouri agencies: healthier teams, stronger leaders, more resilient organizations. That's the goal. That's the work.

This week, we pause to honor the law enforcement officers who gave everything in the line of duty and to recognize the thousands who show up every single day carrying a weight of responsibility most people will never fully understand.

National Police Week was established in 1962 to remember the fallen. To reflect on the sacrifices made in the protection of our communities. But we also believe it's a moment to acknowledge what so many in law enforcement carry quietly: the accumulating toll of trauma, loss, and a culture that has too often told them to push through without asking for help.

You don't have to carry it alone.

To every officer who has served, is serving, or is struggling right now: you are more than your badge. Seeking support when you need it is what makes it possible to keep showing up.

Tonight we think especially of the families gathered in Washington, D.C., and every officer whose name has been added to the wall.

Today we honor every firefighter who puts it all on the line, and we mean all of it.

The physical courage is visible. The mental and emotional toll often isn't. The calls that stay with you. The weight you carry home. The things you don't talk about because that's just part of the job.

It doesn't have to be.

International Firefighters Day is a reminder that strength isn't just about what you can carry: it's about knowing when to reach out.

You've spent your career showing up for others. You deserve that same support!

ResponderStrong is here. The resources are here. And we're not going anywhere.

To every firefighter reading this: thank you. You matter beyond your helmet.

You size up every scene... Now it's time to size up yourself!

We're proud to announce the launch of the Responder Mental Health Assessment from ResponderStrong: a free, comprehensive tool built specifically for first responders workers like you.

Using the same systematic approach you bring to every call, this assessment helps you evaluate your mental health across eight areas that matter most:
🔹 Depression
🔹 Anxiety
🔹 Anger
🔹 Physical Stress
🔹 Sleep Disorders
🔹 Repetitive Thoughts & Behaviors
🔹 Substance Use
🔹 Suicidal Ideation

Your results come with real resources and short videos that help you understand what they mean AND what to do next. Because identifying a problem early is always the best tactic.

This week is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and we're taking a moment to recognize the people who are often less visible in the responder conversation.

Dispatchers are the first voice you hear - where every response begins. They're the ones who pick up when everything is falling apart. They absorb panic, gather critical information, coordinate response - and then take the next call.

What doesn't get talked about enough? The toll that takes.

Dispatchers experience secondary traumatic stress, burnout, and moral injury at rates that mirror the responders they send into the field. They carry the weight of every call - often without the same access to peer support, mental health resources, or even the recognition that what they do is, in fact, a public safety job.

This week, we see you. We honor you. And we're committed to making sure the conversation around responder behavioral health includes every voice on that radio.

This is what it looks like when fire chiefs do something the fire service rarely makes space for: talking honestly about what command actually costs...

Last week in Arizona, we ran the beta cohort of ChiefStrong: a 2-day executive mental wellness and peer support immersive built specifically for fire chiefs.

It's invitation-only. It's peer-driven. And it's designed around a simple reality: chiefs carry a different category of pressure than anyone else on the job. Political weight. Personnel trauma. Ethical decisions with no clean answers. Most of them carry it alone.

ChiefStrong exists to change that.

The room last week was full. The conversations were real. And the 12-month peer network these chiefs are walking out with is just getting started.

This program is still in development. Follow us here for updates — including how future cohorts get formed.
