Next time you’re driving down West Main, notice the new lights shining on Fite-Fessenden House.

This long-awaited project was made possible through Historic Lebanon Main Street’s new Facade Grant Program, which supports facade improvements such as lighting, painting, awnings, and signage within the downtown district.

Historic Lebanon Main Street’s mission is to preserve, enrich, and promote historic downtown Lebanon as the vibrant heart of the community, and this investment is a strong example of that work in action. Funding for these grants comes from the generosity of annual corporate partners and community-supported fundraisers like the Farm to Table Dinner.(Save the date for September 20 at Cumberland University!)

Tomorrow, Fite-Fessenden House welcomes Spring AND welcomes guests to another sold -out CedarStone Bank Lunch and Learn. Dr Natali Inman will speak on the American Revolution in the South. Thanks to ALL the volunteers who make it happen at FFH.

Our Year in Review:

As vice-president of the board of History Associates of Wilson County, I am beyond excited to present this video of the year 2025. None of this could have happened without you, the individuals who attend our events and support us in many ways, big and small.

As we reflect on a successful 2025 at Fite -Fessenden House, we not only thank our individual donors but also the Lebanon/Wilson County community at-large, especially our loyal sponsors: City of Lebanon, Wilson County Government, CedarStone Bank, and Lebanon Breakfast Rotary.

Collaboration with other groups, namely Historic Lebanon, Year Round Garden Club. Margaret Gaston Chapter NSDAR, Pickett’s Chapel, Cumberland University, and Fiddler’s Grove is essential to our mission.
We also thank those who rented FFH for their special occasions.

When we formed the new board in 2019, we envisioned not only preserving the site itself but also making this historic home a vital part of our community. Today, we celebrate our progress toward that goal and look forward to another year of learning, growth , and fun at Fite-Fessenden House Museum. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0efctIP06_LwY6P_ib_kRPvQg

🌟 **Happy New Year 2026!** 🌟

As we step into another year, we want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had together in 2025.

Thank you for your enthusiasm, participation, and contributions. Whether you attended our events, shared stories, or helped spread the word, every bit of support has made a significant impact. Together, we’ve celebrated our past, had lots of fun with keeping history alive through Gilded Age Art Classes, DAR Meetings, Lunch and Learns, Within These Walls with the FFH Archives Committee and our first Annual Traditional Christmas Teas! Also a very sincere thank you to all who responded to our membership drive and those who rented FFH for events, all essential to keeping our house alive for generations to come.

Here’s to more shared memories, discoveries, and adventures in 2026! We can’t wait to see what this year holds.

Wishing you all a year filled with joy, the love of history and inspiration!

Historically Yours,
Fite-Fessenden House/
