Finding the Magic in the Mess!

What a way to kick off the 2026–2027 school year!

A huge thank you to Phil the Magic Man for joining us at our Lebanon Public Schools Convocation and bringing our theme, “Magic in the Mess,” to life. Through humor, mentalism, audience participation, and plenty of surprises, Phil reminded us that things don’t always have to go exactly as planned for something pretty amazing to happen.

That feels like a perfect message as we begin a new school year. In education, the “mess” is often where the learning, growth, connection—and yes, the magic—happens.

Thank you, Phil, for helping us start the year with laughter, energy, and a little wonder!

We Grow Learners. We Cultivate Leaders. We Create Legacies.

Good Afternoon,

Please be advised that parking lot and roadway maintenance will begin at Lebanon Elementary School and Lebanon Middle School on Friday, July 31. During this time, there will be limited access to the roadways and parking areas while preparations are made for the application of a new seal coat.

This maintenance includes seal coating the entire parking lots and roadways. It is essential that no vehicles or pedestrian traffic enter the closed areas during the curing process, as doing so could damage the new surface and delay the completion of the project.

The work will be starting on Friday, July 31 with limited access (for custodial/maintenance staff only) to the parking lots and road ways. The entire parking lot and all roadways at both schools will be closed beginning Saturday, August 1, and will remain closed through Sunday, August 2. The parking lots and roadways will reopen on Monday, August 3, after the seal coat has had sufficient time to properly cure. In addition to the seal coating the line striping will be taking place on Tuesday, Aug 4th. This is subject to change based on weather.

The crack filling will be taking place on Tuesday Aug, 4th at Lyman, this material is able to be driven on relatively quickly after its application. Once the crack filling has been completed the Lyman parking lot will be seal coated on Wed Aug, 5th. Access to the parking lot and different spaces will be limited. Please pay close attention to detours and temporary signage. This work is all subject to change based on weather conditions, we will try to send out updates if these dates are to change.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we complete this important maintenance to preserve the condition and longevity of our campus roadways and parking areas.

Thank you,

John Jarvis

Where the journey began... and where the legacy continues.

The halls of Lebanon Elementary School welcomed back some familiar faces as the Lyman Memorial High School Class of 2026 participated in the annual Senior Walk.

As they retraced the steps they once took as young students, our seniors served as role models and inspiration for the next generation of Lebanon learners. Full circle moments like these remind us that education is about more than graduation, it's about growth, connection, and lasting impact.

💙 Congratulations, Class of 2026!
