Bring your kids out to the Lebanon Farmers’ Market this Saturday for a fun morning of planting, learning, and growing!

The Lebanon Connecticut Lions Club will be joining us with a free hands-on activity where kids can plant a seed, bring it home, and watch it grow. It’s a simple, fun way to introduce children to gardening — and who knows, their little plant might even be ready to enter at the Lebanon Country Fair later this season!

Stop by the Lions Club booth while you’re shopping at the market and let your kids get their hands a little dirty in the best possible way.

📅 Saturday, June 6
🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Lebanon Farmers’ Market
Alden Tavern Park, 862 Trumbull Hwy
Free for kids while supplies last.

🎉 Good News for Lebanon Taxpayers! 🎉

The Lebanon Board of Selectmen has voted to reduce the FY 2026-2027 mil rate from 22.7 to 22.5 mils.

This reduction was made possible by updated state funding, including:
✅ $183,144 in Education Cost Sharing (ECS) funding
✅ $41,770 in Municipal Aid funding

By incorporating these additional revenues into the adopted budget, the Town was able to lower the amount that must be raised through local property taxes.

The adjustment follows a recommendation from the Board of Finance and was made in accordance with Section 178 and HB-5563, Sections 503-507.

📊 New FY 2026-2027 Mil Rate: 22.5 Mils

Thank you to the Board of Finance and Board of Selectmen for their work in ensuring taxpayers benefit from these supplemental state funds.
