End of an era for Lebanon County. πŸš’πŸ’¨

After more than 45 years of dedicated service to our community, Tanker 48-1 (formerly Tanker 29-1) has officially left the station for its next chapter. On Tuesday night, this 1977 International TranStar 4300 began its journey to its new home in Washington State.

From its early days with Prescott Community Fire Co. to its years with South Lebanon Township, this truck has hauled millions of gallons of water and protected countless homes. Now, it’s heading west to join the fight against wildfires. 🌲πŸ”₯

It’s bittersweet to see a legend go, but we couldn’t be prouder to see it continue saving lives on the front lines. Thank you for the decades of service, 48-1. Keep the water moving!
