It is with great sadness that we advise the Lawn Fire Department notified us on Wednesday afternoon that the Fire Department has decided to stop all EMS operations and terminate all paid positions effective on Friday May 28th 2021 at 6am. The Lawn Fire Department has asked First Aide and Safety Patrol from Lebanon to assume EMS coverage in the area until such time as the South Londonderry Township, South Annville Township, Mount Gretna Borough, West Cornwall Township and Conewago Township authorities make a municipal resolution to provide new coverage to a EMS organization or organizations of their choice.

We know that both Life Lion EMS and First Aide and Safety Patrol has placed bids into the municipalities to cover. We understand that in those bids that both organizations proposed to honor all existing Lawn EMS memberships for the rest of the year.

While we at Lawn EMS respect the Lawn Fire Departments authority. This decision is not what any of the EMS Chiefs, managers or employees wished to happen. It has been an absolute honor to serve all of the residents, visitors and transients of all the municipalities we have served over the past 50 plus years. We wish you all the best and thank you for your support!

We promised we would never forget, but unfortunately many have forgotten 😡 Prayers to all those who were affected by this unspeakable and unimaginable attack on US soil 19 years ago. Listening to this all over again infuriates and saddens me. Impossible not to cry while listening to these recordings. So sad, heart wrenching, and riveting 😭😡😭
