Meet the Commission Monday!

Tatianna Garcia was introduced to the Lebanon County community by her admission to Lebanon Valley College as a First-Year Student in 2016. After a pandemic-sized bump in the road and a few unexpected left turns, Tatianna landed at the Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center in 2020 as the Administrative Assistant and transitioned into a Counselor/Advocate role in late 2021. In her role at SARCC, Tatianna strives to encourage survivors of all backgrounds and identities to reclaim their power and find healing in supportive counseling and various kinds of advocacy. Tatianna also serves as a Co-Facilitator for Lebanon County’s Youth Advisory Board and recently accepted an administrative role for Lebanon County’s Cultural Diversity Conference. On the state level, Tatianna sits on the Youth Engagement Subcommittee for the Pennsylvania Juvenile Justice & Delinquency Prevention Committee. Tatianna has also partnered with other Lebanon County community leaders to present Lebanon County’s violence prevention and community building efforts at both state and national conferences. She is rounding out her 3rd year on the commission and cannot be more excited for year FOUR! She is presently the Glass Slipper Committee Chair.

In her free time, Tatianna enjoys scoping out local businesses throughout the Lancaster/Lebanon area and learning from her peers. She is a Cat Mom and a wicked cool Aunt to an even cooler (human) niece. Her most prized possession is her 2024 All-Star Worlds Gold Medal ( # ECE4L), and her favorite self-care methods are solo brunches and finding the best outdoor reading spots.

Join us for our new series- Meet the Commission Monday. Here we will be introducing the current members of 2026 for the Lebanon County Commission for Women.

Deja Pyles is the Chair of Public Relations for the Lebanon County Commission for Women. She was born and raised in Lebanon County but ultimately went to Linden Hall School for Girls in Lititz for high school. She later attended West Chester and Clarion Universities for her bachelor’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies. With that as her major, she believed being a part of the LCCW would be a perfect fit to apply her studies. After a year on the commission she became the Public Relations Committee Chair. She hopes to continue to interact with Lebanon County through social media as its use can reach communities near and far.

In her free time, Deja enjoys going to the gym, spending time with her family and Jack Russell Terrier Ruthie, and she will be starting her first semester of law school this fall.
