Mutual Aid Response | Anneville

At 4:58 AM this morning, Community Fire Company of Cornwall Borough responded to a 3rd alarm structure fire at the Corvette Bar & Grill in Anneville.

Our crews assisted alongside numerous mutual aid companies as firefighters worked to bring the incident under control.

While our personnel were committed to the response, coverage for our local area was provided by Dauphin County Engine 71 and USAF personnel. We extend our sincere thanks for standing by and ensuring continued protection for our community.

Earlier in May, members of Community Fire Company of Cornwall Borough joined other area fire companies for Hazmat training to sharpen skills, strengthen teamwork, and stay prepared for a wide range of emergency situations.

Training like this gives firefighters the opportunity to practice specialized response techniques, work alongside neighboring departments, and build the readiness needed when our community calls.

Thank you to all members who took part and to our mutual aid partners for training together. Stronger together, better prepared for Cornwall and the surrounding communities.

As we head into Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor & remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our great country.

With rain expected for much of the weekend, some cookouts and travel plans may look a little different, but safety still matters. Whether you are on the road, grilling between rain showers, or spending time with family and friends, please keep these reminders in mind:

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Allow extra travel time and slow down on wet roads
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Never drive through standing water
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Keep grills outdoors and away from homes, porches, garages, and overhangs
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Never grill inside a garage, even with the door open
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Keep children and pets away from hot grills
๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Make sure coals and ashes are fully cooled before disposal

From all of us at Community Fire Company of Cornwall Borough, we wish you a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend.

Remember. Honor. Stay safe!

โ€ผ๏ธThe Community Fire Company of Cornwall Borough recently learned that our Spring 2026 fundraising letter was printed and mailed by the marketing company using a version that had not been approved. We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused and have contacted the company to address the issue.

Our mission remains unchanged, and we continue to rely on community support to help fund equipment, training, maintenance, and emergency response needs. Thank you for your understanding, generosity, and continued support of our volunteers.
