🌸 Spring Clean & Give Back – Coat Drive 🌸

Cumberland Plateau Regional Housing Authority is now accepting donations for our upcoming Community Coat Closet, serving families at Centennial Heights in Haysi and Fox Meadows in Lebanon.

As you are clearing out closets this spring, please consider donating any new or gently used coats to help local families prepare for colder months ahead. 🧥💛

Our goal: to ensure every child in our community has a nice, warm jacket when the colder season returns.

We are currently accepting all sizes, infant through adult:
• Coats
• Hoodies and light jackets
• Gloves, hats, and scarves

📍 Drop-off Locations:
• CPRHA – Fox Meadows Office – Lebanon, VA
• CPRHA – Centennial Heights Office – Haysi, VA
• H & E Auto Repair (formerly Andy’s Auto Garage) – Hurley, VA
• Jacksons Chapel Freewill Baptist Church – Hurley, VA

If there are any local businesses in Russell County, Dickenson County, or surrounding counties interested in serving as a drop-off location, we would love to partner with you. Please reach out!

Centennial Heights — you all hopped into action and made today’s Easter Egg Hunt one to remember! 🐣🌷

From start to finish, it was full of egg-citement, big smiles, and baskets filled to the brim — this community truly knows how to show up!

A few egg-stra special shoutouts for helping make the day so sweet:
🥕 Main Street Country Kitchen in Haysi, VA for the delicious food that kept everyone fueled and happy
🎨 Lexi Lehmann for donating her time and talent to create such fun face painting for the kids
💛 Becky from Dickenson County Behavioral Health for her generous donation and for jumping in to help bring everything together

And of course… a very special shoutout to the Easter Bunny for making a stop at Centennial Heights — we know this time of year keeps them hopping! 🐰💛

Get ready for an egg-citing Easter Egg Hunt happening Monday, April 6th at 12:00 PM — and trust us, you won’t want to miss it!

We’ll have eggs to hunt, food and drinks to enjoy, face painting for the kids, and a special visit from everyone’s favorite VIP guest… the Easter Bunny! 🐰🎨

All tenants are welcome to come watch and join the fun! Children must be under 18 and a tenant to participate in the egg hunt.

Bring your baskets and your best egg-hunting skills — it’s going to be a hopping good time! 💛

Fox Meadows — you all showed up and SHOWED OUT at our Easter Egg Hunt today! 🐣💐

We had an egg-cellent turnout, and the smiles were hopping all around — you all did AMAZING!

Shoutout to Layla Hubbard for the egg-stra fun face painting — the kids absolutely loved it! 🎨

Big credit to the Fox Meadows Tenant Organization for putting all the pieces together and hosting this egg-citing event for the children!

And of course, our VIP guest — the Easter Bunny — for taking time out of a busy schedule to hop on over and visit our kids! 🐰💛
