The week of February 23-27 Fire Chief Cody Seymour attended the Indiana Fire Chiefs Academy, an intensive 40 hour executive-level program designed to prepare chief officers for the complex challenges of leading a modern fire department. The academy focuses on strategic leadership, organizational culture, administrative responsibilities, risk management, and navigating today’s legal and political environments.

Chief Seymour has successfully completed the program. His willingness to invest in professional growth not only strengthens his leadership, but also directly benefits our firefighters and the community we serve. We’re proud of his commitment and the example he sets for our department.

Eng 222 assisted Zionsville fire on a working garage fire early this morning. Eng 222 crew assisted with fire attack and overhaul.

Eng 222 arrived first due and had attack along with water supply then assisted with overhaul. Car 2201 assisted with command and accountability. Great work by all crews making a quick stop on the fire.
