Just after a wonderful breakfast provided by First Baptist Church, (thank you SO much), crews began their day with some ladder climbing. 🚒🔥🚨💪🍳🧇

While taking some pictures of our new truck at the middle school, an impromptu training session provided an opportunity for a couple of staff members to get some aerial photos of their own.

We’re proud of our relationship with the school district, and we loved being there to wish many children and families a happy school year!! 🚒🚨👍

There aren’t many things we love more than recognizing our members for their lifesaving efforts. This means that not only do our members do outstanding work, but it also means that one of our neighbors, someone’s person is still here to love and be loved.

In this case, Captain Shannon Prince, Lieutenant Josh Tranbarger, Firefighter James Vaughn and Firefighter Jardin Dye successfully resuscitated one of our residents suffering cardiac arrest in their home.

We hope you never need us, but if you do; we’re here for you with some of the best in the business. 🚒🚨🚑💪

Your firefighters were challenged today. Among about 15 calls for service (so far), fire crews were called for a car into a building and for a tractor on fire off the roadway. These incidents were handled quickly and efficiently. Both remind us, in addition to the triple digit heat index, we never know the hazards we’ll face or where we’ll face them. We train hard to be ready.

Stay indoors if you can, stay hydrated and as always, we’re here when you need us.
