Get ready for the SKILLS USA Labor Auction happening this Tuesday, the 18th, at 6:30 PM! 🚨

Each year, we come together to raise funds that help cover competition fees for our students participating in State and National contests.

Students in Welding, Auto Tech, Collision, Culinary Arts, Machining, Building Trades, and IT are gearing up to showcase their skills—and we need YOUR support! 100% of the funds raised go directly to supporting these students and the real-world learning they take on each day!

As part of LTCC’s programs, our Machining Technology students heard from Joe Williams of Precision Cutter & Tool in Lebanon, MO. Joe shared insights into the company's operations and the precision work involved in machining. He showcased an aerospace part made with a CNC milling machine, highlighting the skill required in the field.

Along with industry insights, our students have been working on hands-on projects. They recently made a Thor hammer and an aluminum fidget spinner. The hammer’s handle was crafted on the lathe, and the fidget spinner involved two operations on the CNC milling machine before adding a bushing.

These projects highlight the real-world applications of machining technology and the skills our students are developing. Thanks to Joe Williams for sharing his expertise and inspiring the next generation of machinists!

So excited to get the chance to celebrate some of our CTE students!

In honor of CTE Month, we’ll be celebrating students who are making an impact through our Career and Technology Education (CTE) courses at the Lebanon Technology and Career Center over the next few weeks!

Our first student highlight is Tegan Herring! He has been a standout in our computer 💻 program for the past two years, consistently demonstrating exceptional talent, dedication, and leadership. His impeccable attendance and commitment to completing every assignment on time make him a role model for his peers.

What sets Tegan apart is his initiative—he has gone above and beyond to assist the LR3 Technology Department in repairing Chromebooks, providing essential support to both staff and students.

His accomplishments speak for themselves:
⭐️CompTIA A+ Certification – demonstrating professional-level IT expertise
⭐️4th Place in a State Technology Competition – proving his skills on a competitive stage
⭐️LTCC Ambassador & LHS Tech Department Intern – gaining hands-on experience and representing our program with pride

Tegan’s hard work and passion for technology, leadership, and service are paving the way for a bright future. Keep up the amazing work, Tegan!

Proud of these students and their commitment to becoming better everyday.
