Serving North Cornwall Township is more than responding to emergency calls—it’s a commitment our volunteers make every day, both on emergency scenes and behind the scenes.
Last year, Neversink Fire Company responded to 456 calls for service.
When an emergency happens, Neversink Fire Company is ready to respond. What many people may not realize is that the same volunteers who answer those calls are also responsible for helping raise funds, maintaining apparatus and equipment, caring for our station, staffing duty crews, attending training, and supporting the day-to-day operations that keep the organization ready to answer the next call.
Our volunteers are your neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family members who choose to serve this community when help is needed. Serving North Cornwall Township requires thousands of volunteer hours each year to ensure help is available whenever it is needed.
Unlike many organizations, the people providing the service are also helping sustain it. Every time you donate to our annual fund drive, support a fundraiser, participate in a raffle, or contribute to Neversink Fire Company in any way, you’re investing in the firefighters, equipment, training, and resources that help us remain ready to serve North Cornwall Township.
Your support helps keep our apparatus on the road, our station operating, our equipment ready for service, and our volunteers prepared for whatever emergency comes next. It allows us to continue strengthening our organization, investing in preparedness, and providing the reliable service our residents have come to expect.
