Where's my mammas out there of little ones who would love a small baggie of fresh basil?

Just picked at 6:30 this evening and a few baggies are in our library. It's not enough for pesto, but it'd make a delicious batch of spaghetti sauce or a Margherita pizza. 🤙

📚❤️ A little love for our little library

We put a LOT of love and work into this space because we want it to be something our neighbors can enjoy and remember for years to come.

Recently, someone cleared the bottom shelf, tore off our fairy lights, threw pizza inside, and took the little white activity basket. 😔

We’re not angry—we’re just asking for a little help.

Please treat our little library with the same care that we put into creating it. ❤️

It takes a village to keep this little library special, and we’re so grateful for everyone who helps us make it a welcoming little corner of the neighborhood.

We just gave our little free library a fun makeover! You can now find large print crossword puzzles, spicy books for adults, Chicken Soup Books (yes, they're still around!), bedtime books for the littles, coloring books, and chapter books for teens on our shelves.

Take a look around and grab a bubble wand or mental health sticker to brighten your day. We're so glad you're here!

Harney Free Little Library is at the corner of Garfield St. and Royal St. in Lebanon, IN. Free Little Library is a worldwide project, providing free books to our neighbors. We carry all topics, and only put out books in great condition, so you can feel good about what you browse and take home.

Merry Early Christmas, everybody! 🎄🙌

Come out today until 6 pm, enjoy some sunshine and round out your Christmas list and stocking stuffers with free books. The library itself is stocked + we set out the restock turnstyle shelf on the porch. Grab what you need/want!
