Rather than use ambiguous scare tactics, Behind the Haze delivers specific facts that teen’s knowledge, attitudes, and/or beliefs that are associated with va**ng behaviors to curb v**e use long-term.

Today marks one year since we launched Protect Kids: Fight Flavored E-Cigarettes, our partnership with Bloomberg Philanthropies to reverse the youth va**ng epidemic. We've made incredible progress:

• 5 states and dozens of cities banned the sale of flavored e-cigarettes.
• 25% of the U.S. population is protected by these laws – including 17.7 million kids.

UPDATE: As of 2/4, 2,758 cases of hospitalized e-cigarette, or va**ng, product use-associated lung injury (EVALI) or deaths have been reported from all 50 states, DC, & 2 US territories (Puerto Rico & USVI). 64 deaths were confirmed in 28 states & DC. Most of these products will stay on the market under the Trump Administration’s loophole-filled policy that takes effect today. To protect kids, policymakers must ban all flavored e-cigarettes.
