Content sponsored by Lebanon DTC

As Lebanon’s Democratic Town Committee, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all Lebanon residents. To that end, we are committed to:
Selecting and endorsing qualified candidates for boards and commissions who are hard-working, competent, and fully dedicated to serving the Town of Lebanon and its residents throughout their terms of service

Sound financial planning, budgeting, and ma

nagement of Lebanon’s fiscal resources

Responsible agricultural, economic, and residential development that protects our land and natural resources, maintains our rural character, and preserves the unique and special agricultural heritage of Lebanon, in which we take tremendous pride

High quality public schools for our children that will prepare them for future challenges and life in the 21st century

A well developed and active senior center that offers practical assistance, as well as multiple opportunities for seniors to participate in activities, programs, and social events throughout the year

Building a strong sense of community through special events, such as the Memorial Day parade, the Fourth of July celebration, concerts on the Lebanon Green, the Farmers Market, and the annual tree lighting in December

A high quality sports and recreation program that offers multiple opportunities for Lebanon youth all year round

Passive and active recreational opportunities for all age groups

A vibrant and active library that serves as a resource and media center, and offers programs to enrich the lives of all residents

Recognizing our town Green as a truly unique historic treasure, to be maintained and preserved for its natural agricultural beauty and the recreational value it offers residents of all ages

Working diligently and in partnership with governmental and non-profit agencies to create and maintain a safe, clean, and sustainable environment for all Lebanon residents by identifying and addressing the environmental challenges confronting our town as we move forward into the 21st century

Finally, as Democrats we are hopeful, optimistic, and aspirational. We strive to be open-minded and inclusive, always willing to consider the ideas, suggestions, and opinions of others, regardless of background or party affiliation. In this spirit, we believe we can work together as a community to problem solve and advance the well being of our town as it moves forward from strength to strength.
