REMINDER…….City of Lebanon has snow routes. Below is a copy of the city ordinance and a link with a map.
Please keep in mind, it is the street departments responsibility to make the streets passable not to clear residents driveways and mailboxes. The City of Lebanon thanks you for your cooperation!
Ordinance pertaining to Snow Routes:
Sec. 32-175. - Parking prohibited during snow removal
(a) No person shall park or allow to stand a motor vehicle, whether occupied or not, except momentarily to pick up or discharge passengers, on any street designated in subsection (b) of this section during any snow removal operations.
For the purposes of this section, the snow removal operations shall be considered to have begun at any time when the snow accumulation in the street exceeds four inches. (b) The following streets are designated snow removal routes within the city:
(1) Harmon Drive from the north city limits to Summerfield Street;
(2) Monroe Street from the north city limits to Schuetz Street;
(3) Summerfield Street from Harmon Drive to Monroe Street;
(4) St. Louis Street from Alton Street to Madison Street;
(5) Belleville Street from the westerly city limits to St. Louis Street;
(6) Schuetz Street from Chamberlin to Plum Street;
(7) Mary Jane Street from the westerly city limits to Horner Street;
(8) Horner Street from Mary Jane Street to Schuetz Street;
(9) North Street from Madison Street to Vine Street;
(10) Roger Drive from College Street to the north city limits;
(11) Alton Street from Belleville Street to the north city limits.
