This excerpt is from the Little Miami Express dated September 20, 1982, Butlerville News column. "Each year the fourth Friday in September is set by official proclamation as "American Indian Day". The purpose is to honor our Native Americans to gain a better understanding of our relationship with present day citizens. The day was first proclaimed in 1916.

This may only be one sixth of the entire 1867 Warren County map, but boy how much space it covers!

This section of the map covers the Eastern Central land area of Warren County, along with smaller maps of New Columbia, Carlisle Station, Harveysburg, Hopkinsville, Roachester, and Mt. Holly.

Where are our WWII historians at??

Thanks to the generous donation of Mary Cox, the WCRC&A gets to share this beautiful image with all of you. Mary's father posed for and received a copy of this image during his service in WWII.

Does anyone recognize the flag in the background?

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day☔☔Unless of course we get another cool photograph out of it!

Although we chose this photo for it's impressive amount of water, we can't help but love the phone booth on the side ☎️
