The City of Lebo will be mailing a required public notice to water customers regarding a Second Quarter 2026 monitoring violation.

We want to provide some additional information so residents understand what this notice means. The violation occurred because the City did not receive the required sample kit for the second-quarter testing period, and the required sample was therefore not collected during that quarter.

⚠️ THIS NOTICE IS RELATED TO REQUIRED MONITORING AND DOES NOT MEAN THAT TESTING FOUND THE CITY'S DRINKING WATER TO BE UNSAFE.

The City has completed its required third-quarter sampling and is currently awaiting the laboratory results.

A copy of the full public notice will also be available on the City of Lebo website. Anyone with questions may contact City Hall.

Reminder: The City Tree Dump is for tree limbs, brush, and other natural vegetation only.

Today, construction lumber was illegally dumped at the site. We have received information regarding the vehicle involved and will be following up as appropriate.

Please remember that construction and demolition materials—including lumber, treated wood, fencing, shingles, drywall, and concrete—are not permitted at the tree dump.

📢 Location Change – Pool & Park Open Forum

Due to the Community Building being set up for the upcoming primary elections, the Pool & Park Open Forum has been moved to the Lebo Library.

West Street between 4th and Broadway will may be closed temporarily tomorrow while city staff fix the road.

Maintenance Staff will be working their way down W. Broadway today to trim trees.

🌳 Tree Trimming Update

City maintenance has wrapped up for the day.

They will resume tree trimming tomorrow morning, starting at 5th Street and Coffey Street and working east from there.

🌳 West Side Tree Trimming Begins Tomorrow 🌳

City staff will begin tree trimming tomorrow, starting on 6th Street at Ogden and moving to West Street. Once that section is complete, crews will continue working south one street at a time (5th Street, 4th Street, and so on before coming back to 7th).

As work progresses, individual blocks will be temporarily closed for everyone's safety. Please be patient, watch for barricades, and use caution when traveling through the area.
