Today is a very bittersweet day for us, we have officially removed Engine 2 from service as it is scheduled to be dropped off for a total refurbishment.

Choosing to refurbish our truck was something we did not take lightly and have put many man hours into planning and will allow our truck to continue to flawlessly serve our community. This allows us to significantly reduce operation costs by nearly $400,000.

We’re expecting our truck to be out of service for the next 6-9 months and then will be back for us to hopefully use for another 20 years.
