The officers and members of Allegheny township fire company, would like to thank everyone for the support for both Josh Suveges and Don Nickels during our time of grief. We had alot of help in both setting things up with the wake for Josh and the funeral for Don. It was a busy week and without everyone's help we couldn't have done it. Again, thank you everyone from station 99.

This is a very common sight at any fire station. Nationally the number of shoes are drastically declining. Without your help there may be a time when the whistle blows and no shoes are scattered. We need your help today more than even. Not every volunteer has to go inside burning buildings. There are tons of other tasks that need completed at an emergency scene. What can you offer? Talk to a member today if you are interested or want to learn more.
Now that we have time to post. Here are the roads that are closed at this time. Rt 356 between La Bellevue Road (hour glass photo) and Orr Ave. - flooded Park Road between Northmoreland Park Road and Rt 356 - flooded White Cloud Road between Woodberry Road and Smail/Melwood Road - Tree and Power Lines Down. Please. Do NOT try to drive through a flooded roadway. You do not know if the road is washed out. Passing a barricade is illegal. Do not approach a downed tree, there may be power lines in the tree. Do not assume a power line is de-energized.
Thanks everyone. Great job tonight! It's nice to role in and get a thorough report on an already extricated patient.
