Several announcements about Lower Burrell:

Good afternoon residents!

We have a few announcements:

1) Weather permitting work crews will begin milling California and Violet Drive tomorrow in preparation of paving both roadways. Please do not park on the roadways during this time. We will give an additional paving schedule when it becomes available.

2) As we all know by now, restrictions and regulations due to Covid-19 are ever changing. That being said, we really do not know what state mandates will be at this time regarding Trick or Treat guidelines for our children. For planning purposes, we did need to set a date. Trick or Treat will be set for Thursday, October 29th, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm ONLY if state guidelines allow for Trick or Treat activities to continue. Please mark your calendars for that tentative schedule at this time.

3) Our Farmer's Market still continues every Saturday through Saturday, October 10th from 9am to 1pm in the City Hall Parking Lot.

4) We know it seems like it was a long time ago since our Lower Burrell Children were attending school in person. That said, Burrell School District will be back in session on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020. With a majority of our local children attending school in person, please watch for kids as they cross our streets, get off and on the bus, and walk to school. As many will have on masks and will be carrying extra supplies to begin their school year. Good Luck to our Burrell Students on a happy and successful year navigating through these trying times!

Have a great remainder of your week!
