A huge shoutout to KAUE 6th grader, Jonah Kapinskis, for sharing his passion and expertise with his classmates during a special science lesson on beekeeping! Jonah's family owns Ouch Farms, and he brought authentic beekeeping equipment and firsthand knowledge directly into the classroom. Students had the opportunity to learn about the important role bees play in our ecosystem, how hives are maintained, and what it takes to care for these incredible pollinators. Thank you, Jonah, for providing such a unique and engaging learning experience for your classmates. We are proud of your leadership and willingness to share your knowledge with others! Cavs What?

A huge thank you to our amazing North Primary PTO for organizing another successful walkathon! Our students had a wonderful time walking, cheering each other on, and showing great school spirit throughout the event. We are so grateful to our families, staff, and community for helping make the day so much fun for our students. 💙💛

One of our final PBIS events of the school year at KAUE was a fan favorite, "Duct Tape the Principals!" Two lucky 5th-grade students cashed in 367 PBIS points each for the opportunity to help duct tape the principals during lunch! Their hard work, positive behavior, and commitment to demonstrating our Cavs LEAD expectations earned them this unforgettable experience. Cavs What?

KASP Kindness Club students provided kindness lessons for the kindergarten and first grade students. It was wonderful to see the older students interacting with and teaching the younger students. We also had our first grade musical "The Ants and the Grasshoppers". We are very proud of our students!

On June 1, 2026, the Kiski Area High School Class of 2026 returned to their primary buildings for a Graduation Walk celebration. Students had the opportunity to walk the halls of their former elementary school buildings, see their former teachers, and be cheered on by students in K-4 grades. The annual KAUE 6th Grade Luau was a huge success! Students enjoyed a fun-filled evening with their peers, making memories, dancing, laughing, and celebrating the end of their time at KAUE together. A special thank you to our amazing PTO for sponsoring this event and for all of the hard work, planning, and dedication that went into making the evening so special. Your commitment to creating meaningful experiences for our students all year does not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly grateful for all that you do for our school community. Cavs What?

Our North Primary kindergarten students had an amazing time exploring the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh! From hands-on exhibits to creative play and discovery, our students learned, explored, and made wonderful memories together. Thank you to our teachers, staff, and chaperones for helping make this exciting field trip a success!
