🎭 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🎭

Ten Leedey High School students recently attended The Outsiders musical thanks to a teacher grant funded by the Leedey Education Foundation. Teachers Misti Goldston and Karlee Lyddon will bring lessons and inspiration from the performance back into their English and Arts/Humanities classrooms this fall.

As the LHS Class of 2026 embarks on the first week of college and the various educational programs they are each pursuing, we wanted to share some photos of the group of seniors who were awarded scholarships from the Leedey Education Foundation. In total, the LEF awarded $15,000 in scholarships to this group of seniors!

Hard to believe a new school year is about to begin! The Leedey Education Foundation is once again excited to be partnering with churches, clubs, businesses, and individuals in our community to provide school supplies for all Leedey Public School students (PreK-12). For years now, families of students attending Leedey School have benefited from this tremendous program to offset all school supply costs for our students, and once again this will be taken care of this school year!

Over the past several years, generous donors and the LEF have made it possible to completely eliminate the need to purchase school supplies for the parents of students in the Leedey school district.

Our goal once again this year is to work with Leedey Public School, so that all students will have everything they need to not only be prepared to start school this fall, but also to meet any additional needs throughout the 2026-2027 school year.

Those wishing to help meet this goal can send donations to Leedey Education Foundation, P. O. Box 314, Leedey, OK 73654.

Please designate "School Supplies" on donations.
