📣 Just a reminder to property owners: When mowing your lawn along the street, please blow grass clippings AWAY FROM THE STREET.

It is unlawful to deposit, throw, blow, or place grass, leaves, compost, brush, litter, or other debris onto a public street.

Did you know this type of debris can plug storm sewers, causing problems not only for you, but also for property owners downstream? Grass clippings and other debris can also damage the street sweeper.

🗓️ Please take note and do your part to help keep our streets free of grass clippings and other debris. We sure appreciate your help!

⚠️ The first offense will result in a warning. A second offense will result in a $50 fee for the City to clean up the grass clippings.

🚨 City of Leeds Residents:

We wanted to give everyone a heads-up that the water tower will be cleaned tomorrow. As a result, there will be a brief water outage around 8:00 a.m., followed by low water pressure for most of the morning while the cleaning is underway.

Water pressure is expected to return to normal by late afternoon once the cleaning has been completed.

Thank you for your patience, appreciation, and understanding as we complete this important maintenance to help ensure the quality of our water system.
