Yesterday was the groundbreaking for Discovery Park, a planned 3.9 million square-foot mixed use project at Douglas and 470. It's wonderful to see so much happening in Lee's Summit right now, and this will be another great addition!

Today I received my first dose of the Moderna COVID vaccine. As someone who is immune compromised, I have worried a lot about what would happen if I got sick. Today I’m excited to be on my way towards being protected and resuming so many of the activities I’ve missed - especially seeing friends and family again. I urge everyone to get the vaccine when they are eligible and supplies allow. And please continue to mask and socially distance until this pandemic is behind us!
