Huge congratulations to our amazing Community and Fundraising Director, Susy Fansher! Tonight, Susy was honored with the prestigious Buck O'Neil Legacy Seat at Kauffman Stadium during the KC Royals game! ⚾️

There is truly no one more deserving. Just like Buck O’Neil himself, Susy pours her heart and soul into our community. Her compassion shines brightest when she is lifting up kids and families battling Type 1 diabetes.

Through her hard work and dedication, Susy:
• Empowers families with Brave Boxes—care packages that prepare them for their journey ahead.
• Educates the community by facilitating Type 1 diabetes classes for families, caregivers, and teachers.
• Funds futures by raising money for college and trade school scholarships for Type 1 students.
• Spreads awareness and advocates for the Type 1 diabetes community every chance she gets.

We are so incredibly fortunate to have her championing our cause. KC is a better place because of you, Susy!

Our incredible Ambassadors were at the KWC workshop recently meeting each other and planning how to make One Inspired Evening, 2026 even more special. Families also helped make Brave Boxes. Meeting others where Type 1 is battled is pretty special.

We're incredibly excited about this special group! Thank you for all your help Ambassadors. And, thank you Dylan F for putting everything together and caring about our 'Kids With Courage' the way you do.
