We are a faith based 501c-3 serving Jackson County by providing food, clothing and hope! Our food pantry is open Monday - Friday by appointment only.

Coldwater Food Pantry, Clothes Closet and Senior Mobile Pantry
Open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays except in November and December when we are open on the 1st and 3rd. Please call the Coldwater office to make an appointment. Our food pantry and clothing closet are open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month except November and December they are on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.

Favorite Story of the Week 💙

For the Tour de Lakes Bike Ride, we were able to put invite cards about Crank Out Hunger in the riders’ bags. One rider, with no prior knowledge of Coldwater, saw the card, registered, and rode with us—and learned a lot about Coldwater along the way.

But the story didn’t end at the finish line. Last week, he came to Coldwater and volunteered with us for the first time.

We love hearing all the ways that people find their way to Coldwater. If you haven’t been to Coldwater yet, please consider yourself invited. 💙

🎉 Happy Birthday to our favorite guy🎉

One of the things we love most about Monte is the way he genuinely cares about people. Whether he’s helping a friend at Coldwater, working alongside volunteers, or just talking with someone who needs a listening ear, Monte has a way of making people feel seen and cared for.

We’re so grateful for the heart he brings to Coldwater and to everyone he meets. Help us wish Monte a very happy birthday! 🥳🎂

No Hungry Kids! provided 12,707 lunches to local kids this summer. Behind every lunch were volunteers who prepped and delivered. Whether you helped once or all summer long, thank you for making this program possible. 💙

❤️ Our Favorite Story of the Week

This week, our favorite story comes with a $20,000 gift.

The team at First Federal Bank of Kansas City volunteers at Coldwater. They didn’t just hear about the growing need in our community—they saw it firsthand. The people we serve, the work our volunteers and staff do, and the difference we make every day.

And what they saw moved them to do more. So, they helped bring a $20,000 Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines Impact Fund Award to our community. This award will help Coldwater continue to fight food insecurity.
