We are a faith based 501c-3 serving Jackson County by providing food, clothing and hope! Our food pantry is open Monday - Friday by appointment only.

Coldwater Food Pantry, Clothes Closet and Senior Mobile Pantry
Open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays except in November and December when we are open on the 1st and 3rd. Please call the Coldwater office to make an appointment. Our food pantry and clothing closet are open the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month except November and December they are on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays.

The shelves are stocked and we are ready for Friends Day tomorrow!

Come see us on Saturday, June 13th, between 10:30 AM - 2 PM for food, clothing, a hot meal, and a warm welcome! No appointment needed.

We love clothing of all sizes, shoes, bedding, and towels!

Drop off between 9 AM-4 PM Tuesday thru Friday so we can help you unload or use the bin behind our building at anytime.

Thank you to the Independence Young Matrons IYM for including us in your celebration of local non-profits! This grant will provide milk, yogurt and other dairy items to families who need it most 💙

If the day ends in "Y," someone from our Grocery Recovery Team is rescuing food! 🚚

These three volunteers are part of a dedicated team that picks up donated food from five different grocery stores throughout the week. Thanks to their commitment, good food that might otherwise go to waste helps fill our shelves and feed local families instead.

To every volunteer who shows up for an early morning pickup, loads trucks, and helps rescue food for our community—thank you. Your impact is felt every day. ❤️

Big 5 Trivia will host the fun at Sinclair's Restaurant, Lee's Summit Martin City Pizza & Taproom, Craft Putt, Water's Edge Bar & Grill, and Llywelyn’s Pub LS.

We are thrilled to be partnering with Urban Produce Push KC! Their mission is to recover extra fruits and veggies from local growers and share them with food pantries. Today, they brought us nearly 150 pounds of vegetables from the Downtown Lee's Summit Farmers Market. Our friends are going to love these locally grown veggies!

There’s something beautiful about the absence of a long line outside Coldwater hours before Friends Day begins.

Not because fewer people need help — we’re serving more friends than ever — but because over the past few months we’ve worked intentionally to create a more dignified experience for every person who walks through our doors.

We’re proud of the progress. And we’re not done yet.
