The bridge along the Legacy Park Trail, closest to the Lovell Community Center, will be undergoing maintenance tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2. The bridge will still be open during this time.

The Park of the Month for September is... Charles David Hartman Park!

Charles David Hartman Park is a 20-acre park located on Pryor Road between 3rd Street and Longview Road. Ten acres of the park were purchased in 1982. The remaining 10 acres were donated by the Erichson and Gibson families of Kansas City, MO. This park was renovated in 2008 and is home to LSPR's adult softball league and features lighted softball fields, playgrounds, walkways, and a concession stand with restrooms. This park includes a playground that is suitable for toddlers and older children. Playground includes slides, a rope climbing course, swings, seesaws, and turf. There is also an asphalt paved trail that stretches 0.63 miles. The park is named after an LS police officer that lost his life in a rescue attempt. Charles David Hartman Park is open between 5:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Join us for our new Adult Pickleball League! This is an exciting 8-week adult outdoor pickleball league featuring structured weekly match play and standings. This league is designed to provide consistent competition, organized scheduling, and plenty of court time in a fun, self-officiated environment.

Each team will play three 20-minute matches each league night, rotating opponents throughout the season. Standings will be tracked weekly.
