CONGRATULATIONS, DEPUTY ANDERSON!

We are proud to recognize Deputy Tremaine Anderson, who graduated from the ABAC Police Academy this morning.

Deputy Anderson has worked hard to reach this point, and we are glad to have him as part of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office team. He will begin field training with our Uniform Patrol Division next week as he takes the next step in his law enforcement career.

STARTING PAY INCREASED FOR DEPUTIES AND DETENTION OFFICERS

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for very limited openings for Patrol Deputy Sheriff and Jail Detention Officer positions.

Starting Pay:

• Patrol Deputy Sheriff — $22.63/hr
• Jail Detention Officer — $17.80/hr

At LCSO, the badge carries responsibility. We are looking for motivated applicants who are ready to work, ready to serve, and ready to meet the standards our community expects.

Certified law enforcement officers are strongly encouraged to apply through our Lateral Transfer Program. Candidates who successfully complete the hiring process through the Lateral Transfer Program will be offered a starting salary higher than the standard base salary of $49,423.92, determined in accordance with their level of prior qualifying service and experience. The maximum starting salary under this program is $62,615.28.
